Energy studies are required in the framework of different national and regional projects and programs aimed either at determining the potential of energy savingsin a specific branch/sector of the economy or at national level, or at determining the energy potential and cost-effectiveness of specific renewable energy source(-s). These may also consider the opportunities to set up new businesses related to renewable energy sources, energy efficiency or reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Studies can be aimed as well at analyzing the possibilities of implementing different technologies in a particular field or a specific market. Studies are also conducted in order to determine the energy tariff (including gas, fuels) in different regions or operators and its components, tackling their sensitivity to different variations of economic parameters.
